PT. Bintang Pangan Indonesia is a manufacturer of spices, herbs and seasonings in Indonesia, most of which comes from agricultural products. Established in 2015, the plant is located at Mojosari, Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia.
We are a new company, but we are sure that we will soon be a reputable company in spices and herbs processor that specialize in low – microbiological products with the very competitive price where the customer can rely on.
We serve the food manufacturing industry, small and medium enterprises, home industry, and all food business such as Catering Service, Restaurant & Fast Food Business, etc.

As a spices, herbs and seasonings processor, PT. Bintang Pangan Indonesia is constantly developing new technologies and methods to meet the changing needs and preferences of our customers.
An International standard of good manufacturing procedures, strict quality control and quality assurance, are implemented from raw material selection, during production processes, and handling of finished goods before they are released and delivered to our customers.
We have a commitment to deliver qualified products by following standard procedure in all stages of product processes, because quality is our priority.

Our plant is equipped with complete and reliable machine such as Heat Sterilizer, Steam Sterilizer, Fludized Bed Drier, Tray Drier, Crushing and Grinding. To remove foreign materials that commonly exist in natural spices and herbs, we have facilities of sieving, sortation and metal catcher. Almost all machine and facilities which are directly contacted to final product is made from SUS (stainless steel).
The plant is supported with its own laboratory to make company able to monitor the important quality parameters such as; microorganism content, size distribution, moisture content, the taste and the color of the product.
1. Quality Assurance
To meet customer satisfaction, PT. Bintang Pangan Indonesia committed to yield qualified, healthy and safe products by implementing, developing and improving process performance through the production aspects of food security as follows:
- Implementation and maintenance way of making good food based on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Implementation and maintenance way of making food hygiene based on the Standard Sanitation Operation Procedure (SSOP).
- Implementation and maintenance of the system hazard analysis and critical control point (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point - HACCP ).
- The provision of caring, understanding and training that is right for all organizations in the management company in regard to the safety aspects of food.
2. Food Safety Management System
HACCP, the essence of food safety management system, is intact. The HACCP analysis is started from: the procurement of raw materials, production process, material handling, packaging and warehousing. This system is applied at each production stage.
PT. Bintang Pangan Indonesia guarantee their safety product since the beginning of the process to the hands of consumers. To apply food safety management system as whole, we implement GMP and SSOP as a basic requirement.
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
In its operations, PT. Bintang Pangan Indonesia performs the GMP that supported by adequate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) available at each stage of production, methods and process technology. In this case we are boosted by equipment and machinery that resulted in safe, hygienic and halal products.
SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operation Procedure)
Beside performing production standard operating procedure as preliminary requirement for HACCP, Sanitation Standard Operation Procedure is also prepared in order to assure that human, as one factor in production chain, does not contaminate our products.
